Where it all began
MyGeneral Needs was founded right here in Davenport, Iowa by people who grew up in the Quad Cities and wanted to give back to the community that raised them. We saw a gap — residents needed a single, trustworthy source for everyday essentials, professional services, and the kind of personal attention that big-box stores and national chains just can't offer.
What started as a small delivery and lawn care operation quickly grew into something bigger. Today we offer a full product shop, six professional services, and DJ entertainment — all under one roof, all backed by the same commitment to quality and community that drove us from day one.
We're proud to be a Quad Cities business. We hire locally, source responsibly, and reinvest in the neighborhoods we serve — from Davenport and Bettendorf to Rock Island and Moline.
